{"id":574,"date":"2019-10-28T20:42:20","date_gmt":"2019-10-28T20:42:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/momentum-chiro.com\/?p=574"},"modified":"2019-10-28T20:42:20","modified_gmt":"2019-10-28T20:42:20","slug":"chicken-cacciatore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/momentum-chiro.com\/chicken-cacciatore\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Cacciatore"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This is a classic dish that is sure to be part of your regular menu rotations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 lb organic boneless skinless free-range chicken breasts<\/li><li>1 medium onion, sliced<\/li><li>\u00bd medium green pepper, chopped<\/li><li>\u00bc c extra virgin olive oil<\/li><li>1 garlic clove<\/li><li>1 can plum tomatoes (16 oz)<\/li><li>1 tbsp parsley, chopped<\/li><li>\u00bd tsp oregano, crushed<\/li><li>\u00bc tsp thyme<\/li><li>\u00be tsp salt<\/li><li>\u00bc pepper<\/li><li>\u00bc lb mushroom, sliced<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Heat oil in large skillet. Add chicken pieces, brown and set aside.<\/li><li>Add onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook until onion is tender.<\/li><li>Force plum tomatoes through a strainer to remove seeds.<\/li><li>Add tomato liquid, parsley, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper to skillet.<\/li><li>Cook over low heat for 15 minutes; stir occasionally.<\/li><li>Add chicken; cover and cook over low heat 45 minutes.
