This simple and delicious salmon recipe can be a staple in your anti-inflammatory diet with healthy fats and antibacterial ingredients like garlic.


  • 4 Wild Salmon steaks
  • ¼ c extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ c fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ c soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder


  1. In a glass pan, combine the last 6 ingredients. Mix well.
  2. Set aside ¼ cup for basting and refrigerate.
  3. Place the salmon into a glass dish and let marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  4. Drain and discard marinade.
  5. Place the salmon on a broiler pan or grill. Broil or grill for 4-5 minutes.
  6. Brush with reserved marinade. Turn and broil or grill for 5 more minutes or as desired.
